BIGGER THAN EVER BEFORE

Northern Ireland Powerlifting Guinness World Record attempt

The Northern Ireland Powerlifting Federation (NIPF) are the only International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) affiliate in Northern Ireland.
As a Division of British Powerlifting (BP) we provide our athletes a pathway to the international stage to represent GB and Ireland
via our partner Federation The Irish Powerlifting Federation (IrishPF).

We are hosting a Guinness World Record attempt for heaviest weight deadlifted in 12 hours (Team) alongside the 2020 Irish Muscle Power Exhibition.
It is our intent to field 6 teams of 12 (male and/or female) to compete for the record which will run over a 12 hour period 0700 to 1900.

The aim of the Guinness World Record attempt for heaviest weight deadlifted in 12 hours (Team) is twofold:
1 – to raise awareness and money for Friends of the Cancer NI and Action for Children
2 – Celebrate the memory of Irelands Best Deadlifter:
First overall IPF World Champion, NIPF member & British Powerlifting hall of famer Colin Wright.
